As for those who refuse to take no for an answer and would even dare reach out beyond the skies, their goals often appear too high and unreasonable to others. It may not really go down well with the audience when the big dreamer hits more home runs than anyone did imagine.

Living in possibly one of the warmest cities on this planet, it is probably too easy to give up the ‘cool’ attitude and very few seem to resist the ‘hot’ offer. All conversations either begin or lead to the climatic condition and I often find myself in them at least twice a day.
I don’t try to duck each time someone mentions how horribly hot the day is. That would not make me feel any better about the weather or the conversation. Instead, a smarter way of approaching certain unpleasant issues would be to use milder or more positive words to describe them.

Sadness, disappoinment and anger are emotions that need as much attention as happiness does. You have to keep an eye on them and play your cards accordingly. You cannot appear happy on the outside and be full of remorse or frustration on the inside. Prentending to feel what you don’t will not get you ahead. It will harm you, psychologically and physically.
It is ok to feel sad or angry. A few weeks ago, I discovered that a very close friend of mine was betraying me each day for almost 2 years by spreading awful rumors about me to practically everyone we knew. That appalled me beyond belief and I was very hurt and upset. She had misused my trust in the most disgusting manner possible. To make things worse, when she realized that I had found out about it, she tried every possible way to annoy me and it still happens every now and then (she also happens to be a neighbor).
I could have pretended to bury the negative emotions under the rug and go on with life as if nothing ever happened but that would be denying the truth. Staying positive also means that you should know how to deal with negative circumstances.
